What we have done

Consultants of "ALT" RC took part in a strategy session of top-management of the holding company Mega textile, in which the company within two days developed an action plan for 2009.
During the event, the consultants acted as independent experts, and presented several methodological workouts, in particular:

  • vision of the current situation and forecasts for the consumer market in Russia, taking into account the impact of the crisis;
  • technique of scenario planning;
  • basic approaches to the development of anti-crisis strategy and crisis plan;
  • approaches to the work with partners, customers and company personnel during the crisis;

During the session, the management team of the company was split into several working groups where participants discussed and developed different scenarios of company development and plans of the holding. During the session participants could have a balanced look at the risks and opportunities of the company during the crisis. 

Results

As a result of the strategic session there was elaborated an enlarged plan of the main business areas of the holding and developed an action plan in the following areas:

  • stabilization and raise of sales;
  • financial optimization;
  • use of the opportunities of the crisis;

Also there was formulated an approach to strategic investment projects, approach to personnel management.
